The Town of Stony Plain Community and Social Development is currently in the process of completing work to develop a wellness strategy to support mental wellness in the community. A public engagement plan has been launched to ensure the public has an opportunity to provide feedback and input at multiple points throughout the strategy’s development. The first phase of the consultation included a survey that was conducted in-person at community events and online through June-September.

 We are now preparing to host a series of focused conversations throughout November, based on themes that arose from the survey. We are excited to host a session for community to provide their feedback on November 22^nd from 6:00-8:30pm at The Community and Social Development Office located at 4613-52 Avenue, Stony Plain. This will be an opportunity to learn about what we have heard so far, identify possible gaps within the themes that arose, and generate possible actions.
