Event Details:

Join a 7-week peer-support group that focuses on self-esteem and the importance of effective communication. This new peer-support group for people identifying as women, called Finding Our Voices is offered by our partner Sagesse. Topics discussed in the sessions include:

• self-image, 
• shame, 
• compassion and 
• the significance of healthy relationships.

Dates: Wednesday, September 13 – October 25 (7 Wednesdays)

Time: 5:30 to 7:30PM

Location: In person in Stony Plain, to be provided upon registration

Sagesse being a domestic abuse serving agency, they recognize it is not uncommon for FOV groups to be made up of people impacted by domestic abuse, so during the registration process participants might be asked a couple of questions relating to this. If a participant is impacted by domestic abuse, Finding Our Voices program completion could lead participants to other domestic abuse targeted groups offered by Sagesse. This project is a partnership of The City of Spruce Grove, the Town of Stony Plain and Parkland County.
